ABOUT THE INITIATIVE
Project CineJoy Because Every Child Deserves the Big Screen
Project CineJoy is an experiential initiative under Hasti Masti Khel that opens the doors of the cinema to children from orphanages and shelters, many for the very first time. For these children, a trip to the theatre is not just an outing. It is access to a world they are often excluded from. As the lights dim and the screen comes alive, they step into stories, laughter and emotions that feel both new and deeply their own. With every outing, complete with meals and a full theatre experience, we create space for connection, expression and simple, uninterrupted joy.
At its core, Project CineJoy is built on a belief we refuse to compromise on: joy is not a privilege, but a fundamental part of childhood. And every child deserves to experience it fully, freely and without exception
What we Offer
Not Just a Movie. A Moment That Matters.
Access to Experience
Opening up spaces that children are often excluded from, creating a true sense of inclusion.
Shared Joy
Laughter, reactions and stories experienced together that build connection and belonging.
Emotional Expression
A safe space for children to feel, process and understand a range of emotions through storytelling.
Memories that Stay
Moments that linger long after the day ends, shaping how children feel about themselves and the world around them.
Sitaare Zameen Par
For the children of Sneha Sadan, Sitaare Zameen Par became a quiet, happy escape. They huddled into their seats with burgers and popcorn, eyes fixed on the screen as the story pulled them in. They giggled at the funny moments and whispered excitedly during the tense ones, turning it into a wholesome day together.
Sponsor a Movie Day for Children
A few hours of cinema magic can light up a child’s entire week.
